Come down!
Save yourself!
Arrogant croaky baritones
chanting away mockingly;
tiny sassy voices, singing along
Partly assured, partly in fear
Their eyes wandered up
and down, and everywhere
Come down!
Save yourself!
As though they’d believe
If for a moment, He did
Come down!
Save yourself!
If for a moment, He did
what would have become of us
and our faith?
